NRCS CODES REFERENCE – 2020 New Mexico Environmental Quality Incentives Program  Payment Schedule

Application Window: Ongoing starting July 1 – June 30

Project Completion: June 30th 

Overview: First-come, first-serve funding available for ONLY the following: hoop houses, water harvesting containers, limited number of native plants, water saving toilets, Johnson-Su bioreactors.

2023-2024 STAND-ALONE APPLICATION

Background

On February 22nd 2016, The Valencia Soil and Water Conservation District (VSWCD) approved implementation of a financial assistance program for preservation of soil and water, and the natural landscapes that protect and enhance the quality and resilience of these critical resources.  This program has been established to promote conservation practices which can be used across different landscapes including rural, urban, wildland urban interface (WUI), rangeland, and agricultural lands within the Middle Rio Grande Valley floodplain, uplands, and mesas.
