Fare thee well Supervisor & Friend Joseph Moya:

This Monday our longtime Board Supervisor, friend and community leader Joseph Paul Moya left our green earth after a period of declining health.  Joseph was a true one in a million leader, a kind and compassionate friend and a local teacher who impacted many lives and who will be sorely missed.  The Moya family has informed me that the services for Joseph are as follows:

Services are to be held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 7 Church Loop, Tome, NM.

Tuesday, October 11th:  Visitation will be held from 5-6 PM, followed by the Rosary at 6 PM;

Wednesday, October 12th:  A final Visitation will be held from 10:30—11:30 AM, with the funeral mass at 11:30 AM.  Joseph will be laid to rest at the Tome Immaculate Conception Cemetery with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall.

The family has indicated that in lieu of flowers for folk to please consider providing charitable donations to the Friends of Whitfield Wildlife Conservation Area (there’s a donate button in the lower right corner of the Friend’s web page).
